Do Dogs Pray?

Seems fitting to post this silly, yet precious photo up at this time.

Could it be true? Do dogs pray?
Do they possibly pray for healing for those that lost their dog?

Good Bye Bailey!

Another sad goodbye, just hate these!

This is a goodbye to Bailey! Bailey has been our guest for many many years.
She lost her battle with life on November 20th this year. :(

This is a stellar photo of Bailey with her awesome mom and dad, Ron & Debbie.
We will always miss you and remember you Bailey!

Another Tribute, This one to Max :(

This is so hard as we have watched Max grow up here at the Looking Glass Inn. So very hard!
This little feller is no longer with us.

Max died of stomach cancer on November 14th 2014. This was an unexpected, sudden and tragic diagnosis and our thoughts and prayers are with his family!

He was 10 years old and a very special guest of the Looking Glass Inn.

This is him with his little brother Milo.

We miss you Max! We always will!

Silly Max!

I LOVE this photo!!!!!!

A Tribute to Lucy :(

This post is to honor Lucy as Lucy is no longer with us.
This is Lucy's mom and dad.

It is so hard to say goodbye to our forever four legged friends. So very hard!
Our thoughts continue to be with you! Mary Ann & Staff

A precious new guest of ours.....

Dear Mary Ann,

My name is Mr. Bojangles but my humans call me "Bo" for short. I just wanted to thank you and your staff for a terrific stay at your cozy inn. You see, I'm only three months old and this was my very first vacation and it couldn't have been better! From your helpful and super friendly staff to the complimentary dog basket filled with things to make sure my stay was perfect. I made so many friends during my stay which made it hard to say goodbye.  My humans had a great time as well and said we'll come again next year for sure!

I've sent along two pictures with this, one of my human carrying me when I got too tired on the beach and the other is one of me soaking up the sun on the boardwalk.

We'll see you next year!

Well we sure hope so!! See you in 2015, I bet you will be bigger!

Mr. Big Paws is in the house!

I just love this dog, he is so amazing, a regular guest of ours and one we very much
look forward to having with us again!

I have to admit his real name is Jack. I just love to call him Mr. Big Paws! lol :)

MEET ALLIE!

TALK ABOUT CUTE.... O MY.... THIS IS ALLIE...

PLEAZZZZE COME BACK AGAIN SOON!  :)

CLEMENTINE!

This is a belated post of which are am sorry to admit! Clementine spent her 2nd birthday with us but we had some glitches getting her photos to post but here she is......finally.... and she is beautiful!

Here is a note her mom wrote to us at the Looking Glass:

We decided on a whim to hit the beach for my doberman's 2nd birthday and looked at a bunch of beach towns on the Oregon coast, but a friend's recommendation for Looking Glass turned out to be perfect. It was a beautiful ride out from PDX, and we were so excited to discover that the hotel was literally ON the beach.

Clementine's first visit to the beach went awesome. Not a ton of people, she loved playing frisbee in the sand and running in and out of the water. She crawled all over the driftwood and ran with the other dogs on the beach. Our room was great, she loved her dogbed. The views were spectacular, even from our room. Clemmie loved standing on her legs, looking out the window at the people going by.
The next morning we went to the beach early and watched the sea lions in the bay. They kept popping up about 50feet from shore, just looking at Clem, and she'd look back.

Hope to you have you "kids" back again real soon!!!!!

Meet Champ!

Isn't he beautiful!!

Another great guest of the Looking Glass Inn!

You are gorgeous Champ!!

Milo and Max, some of our favorites!

Milo and Max actually email us! Their last email to us read like this:

Hi Mary Ann, Hillary and all the great staff, Max and I brought our mommy and daddy to stay with you for the weekend. Mommy says it was the weekend of January 10 this year. It was a cold, rainy (hi Rain,) and windy few days. Max and I didn't mind it a bit. Daddy still took us out as much as possible so he could throw my orange toy (see 1st photo) for me to fetch. Mommy took a photo of each of us on the sofa. Max's photo is the last one (he was tired after just one day.)

Max and I will bring mommy and daddy back again soon.

Bye bye till then.

Roshan has come to the Looking Glass Inn!

A special dog with his special parents!

Thanks for staying with US!

A walk on the beach "with" Rain

Here is a great guest of ours walking the manager's dog Rain.

Not everybody gets to take Rain for a walk!

You must be pretty special!
